Peter A. Peterson Peter A. Peterson started playing piano at age
five-- but then he was generally a lot more interested in bugs and dirt, toy cars and
fireworks, taking apart old machines and playing video games on the Apple ][e.In high school, Pete picked up the tuba, and percussion, as well as
the guitar, spending his summers at Covenant Park Bible Camp in Northern Minnesota,
writing music, and playing it with Dave Hendrick wherever anyone would listen.
Pete went to North Park University in 1994, and continued to
write play solo and with friends from time to time, graduating in 1999 with a degree in
Music Education.
These days, Pete is working at North Park in Computer
Services and playing and singing around Chicago. |

Peter Carlson peter bought a bass guitar years ago because sting is cool...and nobody he knew played bass....peters life is filled with occurances such as this.... since then less and less persons of the people peter meets play bass...it's an odd thing peter played in his first band before that band was a band...it was called Kindred...but that band formed finally under the name Down Pull...Peter and his friends were still in high school doing these absurd things like being in a band and calling it Down Pull... peter then went to college...peter is out of college now and he plays in bands...Blue Stone is the next evolutionary step from Down Pull....And peter plays in redvinegar because he likes the music and the folks aren't half as bad as what Phil's internet rumor source would tell you....so the moral of the story is that you can only watch spot run so far before you have to run after him...either that or it's "Watch car crush spot." it's good that the world has trained us to not think about the moral too much, or else our heads would hurt a bit more than they do presently...thank you and good day.... |
Aaron Moon
All I can say is, Aaron is one bodacious drummer. He and Phil grew up in New England together, playing in such famous bands as Gunther. Aaron started a band in high school called either Mamba or Mambo (we don't remember, and Aaron's not here to correct us). We're sure that they rocked, since Aaron rocks, but again, he's not been very forthright with information, so we're kinda just making this up as we go along.Really though, Aaron rocks.

Dave Hendrick I
graduated from the same high school as Pete. We did guitar stuff back in the day. I
watched Pete as his adventure with the guitar started, and that was a cool thing for me,
because, up until that point, I had been focusing on metal riffing. Pete's song
"Everyday" was one of the first songs recorded using my four-track It appeared
on the Angry Pug compilation, of which three were made. Then Pete graduated. Later, I graduated.
While in school at UMD, I studied Theatre and played with
Crooked Simian, Twelver, and Decibel 192, all punk bands. I kept doing things on the side
with my trusty 4track and Dad's accoustic. Me and Pete would jam when he was home over
breaks and I even made it down to Chicago a couple of times, eventually meeting Phil,
which was a lot like meeting a skinnier version of myself with better hair and whiter,
suprisingly, skin.
The Chicago trip changed my outlook as a creative person. I
decided to give Film School a go and transferred to The University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.
During the first semester, I spent about 5 weekends down at Chicago, which was a blast,
because not only did I get to play music with Phil and Pete, I also got to play drums.
Then I ran out of money and developed some health problems, which is still a frustrating
thing for me to deal with.
I am currently enrolled at UW-Superior where I am the music
director for KUWS's alternative music show, The Dean's List. I am not very happy here as
there is not a lot of opportunity to play out, but I do like the radio and I am making
important connections in the business side of the music world, which will help me out in
the long run.
Soon, I will have a second round of surgery that will help me
get back on my feet. I have a good job working for the computer center on campus and my
classes are nice and small, but I miss Chicago and I miss playing with Pete and Phil and
Sexual Peter. I guess this Aaron guy is pretty chill, too. I look forward to meeting him. |
