FREE SPECIAL BENEFIT SHOW THIS SUNDAY NIGHT

This Sunday, redvinegar is playing a special free show with Sheepdog
Society (led by NPU art professor Tim Lowly) at the Berry Memorial
United Methodist Church at 4754 N. Leavitt (Just east of Western and
Lawrence). This show is a benefit for the arts program at Berry UMC as
well as for North Park's Outreach Ministries organization. There will
be a donation box or perhaps a hat passed to benefit these two great
groups.

What's really cool though is that not only is Sheepdog Society great,
but because this is a more laid-back environment, redvinegar has an
opportunity to play music a little differently than we would at The
Lyon's Den or at Goose Island -- in fact, we're pulling out at least
three songs that are brand new to the band, and playing some familiar
songs in new ways. On top of that, Peter Carlson (of Blue Stone) will
be playing with us. If that wasn't enough, some friends have arranged
it so that Laura Laurent will be flying here from Los Angeles to sing
with us. We'll also be using a real live piano, a banjo, and even more
surprises. If you can't tell, we're really excited about it.

The show is at 8:00 PM on Sunday, April 27th, at Berry UMC, 4754 N.
Leavitt. The show is free, but bring some money to donate if you
can/want to. All the proceeds will go to benefit these groups.

NEW MUSIC ONLINE!

We recorded our show at the Lyon's Den on April 10th and some
highlights are available for download. Specifically, there are three
new songs here: http://redvinegar.net/music.html/ ! If you're
interested in hearing more of the show, email me privately or visit
http://bbs.tastytronic.net/proj/Roasted%20redvinegar/ and scroll to
the bottom. These files give a taste of what we sound like now.

UPCOMING GIGS!

We have more dates coming up in the next few weeks where we will be
rocking your socks off:

May 3rd -- Goose Island Wrigleyville (free!)
May 8th -- The Abbey Pub (5 bands for $5 including Blue Stone and
	Slow Learners)
May 10th -- Delisi's Pizza (free... I think?)
July 2nd -- Taste of Chicago

NEW PHOTOS COMING SOON!

Our photo page (http://redvinegar.net/photos.html) is sadly out of
date -- but tomorrow night Phil and I are planning on adding a bunch
of photos from the last few shows. I know you know what we look like,
but if you have any desire to see photos on the Internet of your
friends acting like rock stars, we are prepared to satisfy that
desire!

As you can see, it's a busy time for us, and we hope you can come see
us play some time. Bring a friend!

Thank you so much for all your support and interest.

Yours,
Peter and the rest of redvinegar.
